You’ll find two fly rods in the house for brown trout fishing on the lochan. You can also fish for salmon on our two‑mile stretch of the River Shee. We can arrange permits and a ghillie.

Several excellent golf courses sit within easy reach. Pitlochry offers an 18‑hole course, and Dalmunzie has a 9‑hole course just half a mile away. Gleneagles and St Andrews are only 90 minutes from the house.

Mountain guides, walks and biking

You can choose from many local walks and rides. Guides are available if you want help exploring the surrounding mountain ranges.

Skiing

Winter skiing (December–March) is minutes away at Glenshee Ski Centre, the largest ski area in Scotland. The ski school is excellent, and you can hire equipment on site.
