About Riverside Lodge
This architecturally designed luxury self catering lodge sleeping 6, was recently built on an elevated site on the banks of the River Nethy, just a short walk from the picturesque village of Nethy Bridge. All on one level, it was designed to take full advantage of its position, with views along the river and across to the mature pines beyond.
Interior designed, there has been no expense spared on the finishes in this lodge, from the beautiful granite work tops and huge range oven, to the wood burning stove and striking antler chandeliers hung between exposed oak beams. Extra luxury features such as real wood floors with underfloor heating mean that this lodge offers the very finest in relaxed holiday living.
Living and dining
The heart of the lodge is its huge open-plan kitchen and living area, perfect for gatherings of family or friends. This impressive, double height room feels even more light and spacious thanks to its panoramic 7 metre window wall, opening onto the outdoor dining and barbecue area. Past the large oak dining table, the room extends down to where the comfortable sofas are arranged around the cosy wood burning stove, with a large screen TV with Netflix and a playstation.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
All three south-facing bedrooms in this luxury self catering lodge have sliding patio doors, designed for enjoying the glorious river view and allowing you to step out onto the patio and garden beyond.* The king and twin bedrooms share the large family shower room with an indulgent rain shower and a skylight which fills the room with natural light. The large main bedroom has its own ensuite shower room and a wall mounted TV, in the unlikely event that you ever tire of the wonderful view!
Outdoors
The garden stretches down to the peaceful river bank, perfect for bird and nature watching, some informal fishing, or simply some quiet moments of reflection and relaxation. There is a fire pit with benches close to the riverbank, ideal for gathering around on cool Highland summer nights.
Amenities
After a day out exploring this fantastic part of the Cairngorms National Park, you may well need to make good use of the lodge’s large laundry and utility room! Its washing machine and drying wall will make short work of any rain, mud or snow that your outdoor clothing may have encountered during your adventures.
Location
Nethy Bridge has some lovely local amenities including Nethy House cafe in the village centre. Located in one of the most popular parts of the Cairngorms and just a stones throw from Aviemore and Grantown, your choice of activities are endless. Everything from bird watching to white water rafting is here, ready for you to discover!

My friends and I loved our accommodation in Nethy Bridge. The views were amazing, the house was immaculate and we felt very comfortable and warm at all times. It was just a short drive to Aviemore, Grantown on Spey and along the road we could access a lot of beautiful country walks. We will definitely be back.

Just stayed at Riverside Lodge, amazing! Perfect location, beside the river which the dog loved and the fire pit was used when it wasn’t raining lol. Lodge has everything needed, loved the range. Getting up in the morning, opening the huge sliding doors and taking in the view will be sorely missed. It’s so peaceful. Looking forward to coming back.
We have just returned from a fabulous holiday stay at Riverside Lodge, booked via Seasgair Lodges. The house was absolutely beautiful, so welcoming, so well equipped, every detail thought off. From booking, the experience has been effortless, timed emails ahead of our arrival meant we knew how to get there, how to access the property and we were welcomed with a lovely message and gifts to help us settle in; the house itself was spotless, warm and cosy. The surrounding area and fire pit made for some lovely evenings roasting marshmallows with our family. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone. We had some lovely food walks down to the village and breakfast a few mornings in the lovely Nethy Bridge cafe. Only 15 minutes from Aviemore meant we had the best of both worlds. Thank you soo much Seasgair lodges for an amazing experience.
