Of course we would say that the best time to visit the Scottish Highlands is anytime! So rather than us trying to convince you, we are going to hand over to some of our previous guests to guide you through the seasons, with their reviews and photos. What better way to truly immerse yourself in the seasons of the Scottish Highlands than hearing previous guests talk about their stay with us…
‘We had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed all the facilities at Pitoulish Steading. The views were spectacular.’ May 2024
‘Our Easter break at Lundin Farmhouse could not have been better, the lochan was great fun. We’d taken our paddle boards and wetsuits and tried our hands at some fly fishing, safe to say the trout out witted us and there was no fish for supper!! The sun sets were perfect endings to perfect days.’ April 2024
‘Our experience was nothing short of magical. Celebrating a significant 30th birthday that turned into a surprise wedding, the venue could not have been more perfect. Milton Lodge, with its breathtaking grounds and views, provided a spectacular backdrop for our festivities. The lodge itself was stunning and seemed straight out of a fairytale, enchanting all who attended.’ April 2024
‘I would thoroughly recommend Seasgair Lodges and Milton Lodge. The extensive lawn and garden was used for tennis and hide’n’seek. Our dog was in heaven with the outside space. Everyone loved the privacy of the lodge and the imposing views (especially from the hot tub).’ August 2024
‘Safe to say we were very sad leaving Culfoichbeg Lodge – what a stunning property….at times it was difficult to make the choice of going out and taking in the breathtaking scenery or staying in and enjoying “natures tv” with the deer, hares and birds such a wonderful privileged sight to dip into their world.’ June 2024
‘We had such an amazing time last week at Craigard Lodge. So much space for several families to spread out and loads to keep the kids amused! Such a beautiful property. One of the highlights was catching some amazing photos of the northern lights on the Monday night from the garden.’ August 2024
‘We’ve now stayed at Riverside Lodge three times, and it’s easy to see why we keep coming back. The peaceful location by the river, surrounded by lush forests, is simply idyllic. We love exploring the local lochs and indulging in delicious Scottish cuisine. And when the weather takes a turn for the worse, there’s nothing quite like visiting nearby Speyside distilleries for a warming dram!’ September 2024
‘The location of Beinn Cottage is truly amazing and I could have sat in the window seat all day, every day watching the ever changing beautiful scenery over the Cairngorm Mountains. This is the place I have been looking for. I have never before walked into a cottage, left all my stuff in the hallway, put on my coat and went for a wander outside. I found it captivating, peaceful and just being at one with mother nature.’ September 2024
‘Just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic time in Cairn Eilrig. The view was certainly amazing, the clouds on the mountains forever changing. We both loved how easy it was to go on scenic walks from the door but also so easy to drive further afield.’ October 2024
‘We had an amazing visit to Milton lodge in Newtonmore. The house is absolutely stunning and has so much space. This morning we left with about five inches of snow on the ground and all heading back to Edinburgh. All of our friends had a wonderful time and have made lots of memories with having so much catching up. A fabulous house for all ages.’ November 2024
‘We had a wonderful time at Gardner’s Cottage. The cottage was all we hoped it would be.Spotlessly clean and spacious. We are lucky to be able to go on several short breaks a year and Gardner’s Cottage is definitely a cottage we would return to. Our dog loved the large secure garden.’ November 2024
‘I am delighted to tell you that my stay at Colmeallie Bothy was excellent from start to finish. The bothy, a nice cottage really, was warm with a lovely log burner which worked very well. The location was perfect, allowing me to unwind and enjoy the walks in the area and explore Edzell and Brechin too.’ December 2024
