Introducing our Highland Hideouts Collection

We’re delighted to reveal an exciting project that we’ve been working on for the last while: the addition of not one, but five brilliant large lodges to our website. The Highland Hideouts Collection is a much-loved family of lodges that are all within 14 miles of Aviemore. From today, we’re taking over their management, so you can now book Highland Hideout lodges directly through our website. 

Each lodge in the Highland Hideouts collection is dog-friendly (other pets welcome too), oozing with character, and offers unique indoor and outdoor spaces. Linking them all is a ski chalet theme, so expect lots of interior wood, ski memorabilia and a hot tub as standard. And now, of course, guests can enjoy them alongside the personalised care and attentive service that we’re known for. 

While we have properties spread across the Highlands, Aviemore – and the wider Cairngorms National Park – remain extra special to us. It’s where Seasgair was founded and where the majority of our team lives, so it is lovely to give our guests even more opportunities to holiday here.

The Highland Hideouts Collection

Highland Lodge Estate, near Carrbridge – Sleeps 23

Highland Lodge Estate is the largest lodge in the collection, ideal for hosting big gatherings. With its impressive spa, panoramic views and cosy communal areas, it’s a place where relaxation and togetherness come naturally. Evenings are best spent by the fire, indoors or out, enjoying good company.

Whisky Trail Lodge, Grantown on Spey – Sleeps 10 + 4

Whisky Trail Lodge immerses you in the Highland countryside but with the added convenience of village life. Situated in Grantown on Spey, this Victorian lodge offers easy access to local cafés, shops, and restaurants. With its private garden and warm interior, it’s a welcoming base for both relaxation and adventure.

Crofts of Cairngorm, near Nethy Bridge – Sleeps 14

Crofts of Cairngorm, located on a 200-acre estate, is perfect for a multi-generational getaway. Here, you get two houses to enjoy side-by-side: Croft House and Wee Croft House, which blend rustic charm with modern amenities, including a sauna. It’s ideal as a base for skiing, hiking, or simply enjoying the scenery. Opportunities for stargazing from the expansive deck or cosying up by the woodburner make this a truly unforgettable stay.

Snowy River Lodge, Carrbridge  – Sleeps 10 + 2

Snowy River Lodge is a storybook escape set on ten acres of riverside land at the edge of Carrbridge. Packed with rustic appeal, this lodge has a sauna, hot tub and firepit, plus a sociable open-plan indoor space for group gatherings. The property sits within easy reach of the village’s pub and café, as well as endless trails for exploring the Cairngorms National Park.

Old Mill on the Spey, Boat of Garten – Sleeps 13

Old Mill on the Spey is a beautifully converted 18th-century millhouse perched by the River Spey. Perfect for family get-togethers, this lodge blends history with comfort and features a fisherman’s bothy, a sauna, and access to some of the best local walks and outdoor activities. Whether you’re exploring the nearby village of Boat of Garten or relaxing by the river, this property ensures a Highland getaway packed with special memories.
