Easter Egg Hunts & Fayres

Rothiemurchus Easter Egg Hunt at Loch an Eilein on Easter Sunday at 10.30am and 2pm, the best bit is that it is free and there is no need to pre-book. You can find the event on their facebook page here.

Brodie Castle are having an Easter Egg hunt, running throughout the Easter weekend, along with their playful garden and art and craft activities to take away. Find out more here.

The Dragon Egg Hunt at Brechin Castle, Angus, this fun twist on a standard Easter Egg hunt is running throughout the holidays, find out more and book your tickets here.

Birnam Arts are having a Peter Rabbit’s Easter Egg Hunt, running throughout the holidays at the Beatrix Potter Exhibition, find out more and book your tickets here.

A National Trust for Scotland Easter Egg Trail is running at Hugh Miller’s Birthplace Cottage & Museum in Cromarty over Easter weekend, find out more here.

Dornoch’s Spring Fling at the Community Centre is on the 30th March from 10am until noon it will have lots of crafts, games and snacks, no need to pre-book and it is free.

Easter days out in the Highlands

Landmark Adventure Park are having an Easter Extravaganza that runs from 29th March through to 15th April. With lots of fun activities on top of the normal park experience, make sure you check out all the details and pre book your tickets here.

Cairngorms Activities are having an Easter Adventure Trail, running through the Easter holidays. Offering 3-hours of fun outdoor activities with an Easter twist! (Involving chocolate of course!) Find out more here.

The Highland Folk Museum, Britain’s first open air museum, allows you to experience Highland life from the 1700’s to the 1950’s and it opens just in time for Easter. They normally have an egg hunt for the holiday’s, you can find out full details on their website here.

If you are looking for an escape from all the Easter activities why not explore Cluny House Gardens, just outside Aberfeldy. This magical woodland garden and discover some of Perthshire’s most fascinating plants and wildlife. Find out more here.
